Eurostar engineering works Mar-Sep 2019, London-Amsterdam trains reduced

Friday, 05 April 2019

UPDATED 26th April 2019

Over the next few months, some services will be altered on the new route to and from Amsterdam:

Eurostar announced that all services are running on time but they are expecting sizeable delays and long queues for all departures from Paris Gare du Nord between 26th April and 28th April. Passport and security checks are taking longer than usual due to the high volume of passengers travelling this week.

Please ask passengers to be at Eurostar terminal at least 2 hours before train departure time indicated on tickets. Arriving later could risk missing your train.

For departures at 07:00 AM, please ask them to arrive at 05:30 AM.

Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 May 2019 and Saturday 25 to Sunday 26 May 2019

•    Trains from London and Brussels will arrive in Rotterdam and Amsterdam approximately 30 minutes later than usual.

•    Trains from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Brussels will leave approximately 30 minutes earlier.

Saturday 18 to Sunday 19 May 2019

•    Trains from London and Brussels will arrive in Amsterdam approximately 1 hour later than usual.

•    Trains from Amsterdam to Brussels will leave approximately 1 hour earlier and won't stop in Rotterdam.

Saturday 8 to Monday 10 June, Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 September and Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 October 2019

We’re not selling any tickets between Brussels, Rotterdam and Amsterdam until the timetable for these dates has been confirmed.

ENGINEERING WORKS 20-23 September 2019

On this weekend, Eurostar have currently stopped selling tickets on trains running from 18:00 on Friday evening until Saturday until 07:00 on Monday morning.

This is because of planned works to replace the points in the Channel Tunnel which will mean that we'll only be able run trains through one of the two tunnels we normally use.

Once our timetables for these days have been amended and tickets are available to book again, we'll announce the details here.

Saturday 29 to Sunday 30 June 2019

We'll be running a reduced timetable to and from Amsterdam.

•    On Saturday, the 9126 11:04 train from London will terminate at Rotterdam and the 9119 train will run from Rotterdam to Brussels only.

•    On Sunday, the 9150 17:19 train from London will terminate at Rotterdam and the 9145 train will run from Rotterdam to Brussels only.

Due to engineering works, the morning Eurostar service from London to Amsterdam will not operate between March & June 2019.

The afternoon departure will still be running.

Alternatively, you may book the Eurostar from London to Brussels and then a local train from Brussels to Amsterdam.
